When you are prompted to pay by the cashier or the point of sale terminal, tap your card to the terminal where you see the contactless icon.

Yes, if you don’t see the contactless icon, you can use your card by either inserting it into the chip reader or swiping it.

Just look for the universal contactless icon at checkout or ask the cashier if you can pay by tapping. If they do not yet offer contactless, the card can be used by inserting or swiping your card at any merchant that accepts Mastercard.

To activate your new card, call the number on the card or visit key.com/activate. Make sure to update any auto-pay bills, such as cable, internet, or cell phone, your online shopping accounts, and mobile wallets with your new card’s number and expiration date.
