Service of Garnishment to KeyBank

Bank garnishments addressed to KeyBank can be served in person at any KeyBank branch, or sent by mail, email, or fax. If permitted by applicable law, garnishments can also be directed to KeyBank’s agent for service of process, CSC, in states where KeyBank is registered.

Service of Garnishments to Other KeyCorp Entities

Garnishments must be addressed to the KeyCorp entity that maintains the requested records. All garnishments must be issued and served separately upon the correct legal entity, and in full compliance with applicable law before the KeyCorp entity will be obligated to respond to such garnishment. The primary KeyCorp operating entities which may house accounts are KeyBank National Association; Key Investment Services LLC; and KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc.

Reasonable Period of Time for a Response

KeyCorp exercises reasonable efforts to respond in a timely manner to garnishments that are validly issued and served in full compliance with applicable law.

For a quicker response, ensure your garnishment clearly lists uniquely identifying information, such as an account number, Social Security number, Tax ID, accurate and current address.

Consider mail time for receipt of your order, answering requirements, and KeyBank’s response. Including an electronic option for answer return such as email or Box.com will increase response time.
