Identifying Legitimate KeyBank Text Messages

From time to time, KeyBank may send you text messages about your account, such as activity alerts or one-time passcodes to verify your identity. These messages may come from a five- or six-digit number, known as a short code, which can be added to your contacts.

Confirming our short codes not only helps you verify that a text is legitimately from KeyBank, it also lets you know up front what type of message it is.
