Jay Masurekar

Jay Masurekar is a Managing Director in KBCM’s Consumer & Retail Group and leads KBCM’s Gaming & Travel Investment Banking practice. Jay joined KBCM in 2007 and has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, financial consulting and assurance services.

Jay has extensive financing and advisory expertise in the gaming and travel sectors. His past and present clients include some of the most diversified companies in the gaming universe such as Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts, Penn National and Boyd Gaming, as well as top gaming and leisure REITs such as GLPI, MGM Growth Properties, EPR and others. In addition, Jay has worked with some of the top Native American Tribal entities in the country, including Seminole (Hard Rock), Mohegan Sun, Poarch Creek, Seneca and others.

Jay has been awarded prestigious Crain’s Cleveland “Forty Under 40” award for 2013 and more recently, Crain’s Notable Immigrant Leader Award in 2020. Jay, a Chartered Accountant, earned an M.B.A. from Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland, College Park and a master’s degree in Advanced Financial Accounting from University of Mumbai.
