Noam Cohen joined KBCM as a Managing Director and the new Head of Retail in 2022. Noam has over 35 years of extensive M&A and financing expertise in the broad retail sector.
Noam maintains deep connectivity with his clients’ owners and management teams after holding prior retail leadership roles at RBC Capital Markets, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers.
Noam had leading M&A and/or acquisition financing roles in the following notable M&A transactions: MurphyUSA/QuickChek, Casey’s/Bucky’s, CST/Flash Foods, Apollo/Michael’s Stores, Bass Pro/Cabela’s, PetSmart/Chewy.com, BC Partners/PetSmart, CVC-CPP/Petco, Sycamore/Staples, Lowe’s/Rona, Bain/Bob’s Discount Furniture, Apollo/The Fresh Market, Brentwood/Z Gallerie, Canadian Tire/Forzani, Golf Town/Golfsmith, Ares/99 Cent Only Stores, Bed Bath/Buy Buy Baby, Adidas/Reebok, Leonard Green/Sports Authority, Albertsons/Shaw’s and Sports Authority/Gart Sports.
Noam earned a B.S.E. in Finance & Accounting from the University of Pennsylvania, M.B.A. from the Wharton School and J.D. from University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
