Todd Rudsenske
Cain Brothers Experience
Todd is active across the firm’s healthcare services coverage effort with an emphasis on provider organizations, particularly behavioral health. He is also active in the coverage of the firm’s financial sponsor relationships. Prior to rejoining the firm in 2024, Todd was a member of the Cain Brothers team from 2003 to 2020. He brings with him over 25 years of experience advising private and public companies in a variety of merger and acquisition, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions. Todd has led or co-led more than fifty healthcare transactions with a total enterprise value approaching $10 billion, more than half of which were in the behavioral health sector. He is a frequent speaker on the subject of healthcare and private equity investment in the healthcare sector and has also authored or co-authored several articles on the business of healthcare, one of which was published by Health Affairs.
Prior Experience
Todd served as a Partner at Webster Equity Partners from 2020 to 2024. At Webster, he worked closely with companies and their management teams across the behavioral health sector. Prior to his time at Webster and Cain Brothers, Todd was at Merrill Lynch in that firm’s Palo Alto, California, office specializing in equity private placements. He also spent time in Merrill Lynch’s New York office, where he was focused on healthcare mergers & acquisitions for not-for-profit organizations. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Todd was a member of Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance Group, focusing on executing strategic transactions for that firm’s healthcare clients. He began his career on the audit staff of Ernst & Young in Dallas.

Todd earned a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University and earned his MBA from the Columbia Business School.
