Andy Labovitz is a Director focused on strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, for hospital and health system clients. Andy joined Cain Brothers in 2003 with 11 years of financial industry experience in the fixed income and derivatives markets. His notable transactions include Monongahela Valley Hospital on its affiliation with Penn Highlands Healthcare, the sale of Mercy Health’s outreach laboratory services business to Quest Diagnostics, UVA Health acquisition of ownership in Novant Health UVA Health System, the sale of Mission Health System to HCA, the merger of DeKalb Regional Health System into Emory Healthcare and the joint venture between BJC Healthcare and Memorial Group.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Andy was a Vice President in AIG’s Structured Products Group, originating and executing structured credit transactions. He began his career at JP Morgan, rising to Vice President, while working on interest rate derivative analytics and asset-backed securitization transactions.
Education
Andy earned a BA in Computer Science from Bucknell University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
