Ben Rechkemmer is Managing Director and Head of Native American Financial Services, responsible for leading a team of banking professionals who serve Indian Country throughout the United States in addition to managing a portfolio of business. Ben joined KeyBank in 2004 to help launch Native American Financial Services and has been Head of the Native American Financial Services team since 2023. Ben has 20+ years of corporate banking experience serving Native American Tribes and has facilitated funding of over $10 billion in global credit commitments.
He previously worked for Bank One and JPMorgan Chase, in capital markets, corporate banking, and middle market lending roles.
Ben graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance and a Master of Business Administration from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington with concentrations in finance and economics. He holds registered FINRA representative Series 79 and 63 licenses.
