Michael O’Hare

Michael O’Hare joined KBCM through its acquisition of Pacific Crest Securities, which he joined in 2008. With over 29 years of investment banking experience, he spearheads the firm’s IT Management and Infrastructure Software team. Michael represented VividCortex in its sale to SolarWinds, CollabNet in its sale to TPG Capital, Dynatrace in its IPO, Cloudability in its sale to Apptio, PagerDuty in its IPO, MOBI in its sale to Tangoe, New Relic and Nutanix on their respective convertible debt offerings, AppNeta in its sale to Rubicon Technology Partners, Cloudyn in its sale to Microsoft, Stackdriver in its sale to Google, Ubiquisys in its sale to Cisco Systems, SevOne in its investment led by Bain Capital, ServiceNow and Splunk in their respective IPOs, AppAssure Software in its sale to Dell, Dynatrace and Gomez in their respective sales to Compuware, and Coradiant and ProactiveNet in their respective sales to BMC Software, among others. Michael was previously Head of M&A at Oppenheimer and Co. and WR Hambrecht + Co. His prior experience includes M&A roles at SoundView Technology Group, Gerard Klauer Mattison, Furman Selz and Lehman Brothers. Michael holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University.
