Pat Kratus is a managing director and is responsible for leading Key’s Technology Investment and Corporate Banking practice. Prior to joining Key, Pat spent 8+ years at BMO where he was the Head of Technology and Business Services Investment Banking team.
Pat has 20+ years of investment banking experience, leading a wide variety of financing and merger and acquisition transactions across the technology industry. He started his career with Robertson Stephens in San Francisco. At Robertson, Pat was a member of the hardware team and was there until the firm disbanded. After Robertson, he went to ThinkEquity Partners and was their first technology hire. He was responsible for ThinkEquity's first IPO and Follow-On offering. Following ThinkEquity, Pat was a partner at Montgomery & Co. and member to the technology team at UBS. At UBS, Pat was responsible for the West Coast Internet / Digital Media efforts as well as the firm’s venture calling efforts.
Pat holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
