Taaha Shaikh is a Director focused on public finance transactions for hospital and post-acute care providers. He joined Cain Brothers in 2010 and has over 11 years’ experience advising not-for-profit acute care and post-acute care entities in a variety of capital raising and strategic advisory transactions. His notable transactions include Three Pillars Senior Living Community’s $50.7 million financing, the $250 million new development joint venture and capital raise for Pacific Retirement Services’ Mirabella at Arizona State University, $145 million fixed rate and bank direct financing for Adena Health System, Baylor College of Medicine’s Joint Venture with CHI St. Luke’s Health System partnership, and the obligated group restructuring of St. Andrews Resources for Seniors.
Prior Experience
His notable transactions include Sanford Health System’s $736.9 million taxable and tax-exempt financing, the $246 million private placement for Riverside Health System, the sale of skilled nursing facility portfolio for Riverside Health System, and the $58.9 million refinancing and restructuring for Christian Care Communities.
Education
Taaha earned a BS in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
