Oliver Janssen joined KeyBanc Capital Markets in 2021, along with 15 bankers from Fifth Third Securities’ and MVP Capital’s renewable energy practice, which he cofounded in 2012. He specializes in advising clients on sell-side M&A and capital raises, focusing on companies that develop, finance, and operate renewable energy assets.
Oliver began his career in 1995 in technology investment banking at Hultquist, with a speciation in the semiconductor equipment industry. From 2008 to 2012, he served as CEO of eIQ Energy, a cleantech startup developing power electronics for use in solar PV systems, where he raised $25M of venture capital from Bosch and NGEN.
