Head of Utility, Power and Renewable Energy M&A

Andy Redinger is Managing Director and Group Head of the Utility, Power, and Renewable Energy M&A team at KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM).

With over two decades of experience in the sector, he has provided specialized investment banking services to some of North America’s largest energy companies, both public and private, and to companies that build, own, and operate energy infrastructure.

Since forming the Utility, Power and Renewable Energy team in 2007, Andy has led KBCM’s growth in renewables, helping to drive the bank to commit over $38 billion to renewable energy projects. This has positioned Key as one of the largest providers of renewable project financing and advisory services in North America. Under his leadership the team has over $8 billion of KBCM’s balance sheet committed to renewable energy clients and has advised leading energy companies in private capital raises, acquisitions, and divestitures. KBCM has structured and financed over 80 gigawatts of renewable energy projects and serves clean technology firms across the power generation, smart grid, energy management, and pollution control sectors. In solar, KBCM has more than double the M&A transaction experience of its industry competitor.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from Purdue University and an MBA in finance from Loyola University.
