Enabling JavaScript on Popular Browsers

Microsoft Edge®

Applicable for most Microsoft Edge versions - visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us for more information

  1. On the menu bar, click Settings
  2. From Settings menu, select Cookies and Permissions
  3. Scroll down to Javascript and make sure Allowed (recommended) is toggled on
  4. Close all open Microsoft Edge browser windows and then relaunch Microsoft Edge

Firefox®

Applicable for most Firefox versions - visit https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/ for more information

For Firefox versions below 61.0.1:

  1. On the menu bar click on Tools then Options
  2. From Options select Content
  3. Make sure that Enable JavaScript has been checked
  4. Click OK on the Options window
  5. Close all open Firefox browser windows and then relaunch Firefox

For versions 61.0.1 and above, Firefox enables the use of JavaScript by default and requires no additional installation

Safari®

Applicable for most Safari versions - visit https://support.apple.com/safari for more information

  1. On the menu bar click on Safari then Preferences
  2. From Preferences select Security
  3. Make sure that Enable JavaScript has been checked
  4. Close the Preferences window
  5. Close all open Safari browser windows and then relaunch Safari

ChromeTM

Applicable for most Chrome versions - visit https://support.google.com/chrome/ for more information

For Chrome versions below 69.0.3:

  1. On the menu bar click on Customize (wrench icon) then Options
  2. From the Google Chrome Options panel select Under the Hood
  3. Select Content settings...
  4. Select JavaScript from Features list
  5. Make sure that Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) has been checked
  6. Close all open Chrome browser windows and then relaunch Chrome

For Chrome versions 69.0.3 and later:

  1. On the menu bar click on Settings
  2. From Settings select Privacy and security under Advanced and then Content settings
  3. Select JavaScript from Features list
  4. Make sure that Allowed (recommended) has been turned on
  5. Close all open Chrome browser windows and then relaunch Chrome
