Cain Brothers Experience

John Kerins is a Managing Director focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for clients in the pharma services industry. He is also a member of the firm’s Senior Management Team. John joined Cain Brothers in 2015 and has more than 16 years of experience in a variety of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions. His notable transactions include the sale of Clinical Education Alliance to The Riverside Company, the acquisition of ObjectiveHealth by Vitruvian Partners, the sale of The Lynx Group to Amplity, the acquisition of Clinical Ink by GI Partners, the sale of iCardiac to ERT, and sale of Bracket to Genstar, as well as several financing transactions for Eversana.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Cain Brothers, John was a Vice President at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he focused on mergers, acquisitions, and fairness opinions across a variety of sectors. His previous experience also includes working for McMaster-Carr Supply Company, a privately held distributor, in a variety of management capacities, including operations and sales management.

Education

John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Kenyon College and an MBA from Fordham University.
